Privacy policy
This policy explains what happens to your files and what data is processed when you use this site. In short: the files you convert stay on your device, and the site does not use cookies.
Files you convert
Files you add to a converter are processed entirely in your web browser. They are not uploaded to our servers or to any third party, and we cannot see, store or recover them. Converted images are held in your browser's memory until you download them, and they are cleared once you close or leave the page.
To read HEIC files, the page downloads program code, including the decoder, from this site the first time you add a file. This is an ordinary download from us to you; the request contains no information about your photos.
Metadata in your photos
Photos often carry EXIF metadata such as the capture date, camera model and GPS location. The converters do not copy this metadata into the new files, and because your photos never reach us, we never receive it either.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It does not use cookies or local storage, and Cloudflare states that it does not fingerprint visitors or track them across websites. What we see is aggregated information such as page views, referring websites, countries and browser or device types.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details when it delivers pages to you, in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare's own privacy policy describes how it handles that data.
Cookies and accounts
This site does not set cookies, does not offer user accounts and never asks for personal information to use the converters. The language you read the site in is chosen through ordinary links and is not stored anywhere.
If you contact us
If you send us an email, we receive your email address and whatever your message contains. We use them only to reply to you, and we do not add you to a mailing list or share your message with anyone else.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site handles data changes, for example because a new feature is added, we will update this page before the change takes effect. This policy was last updated in October 2026.
